1. Order Level Discount:

Fixed Discount (E.g: Buy for $1000 and Get $100 Off)
Percentage Discount (E.g: Buy for $1000 and Get 10% Off)
Order to Item-level Discount (E.g: Buy for $500 and Get Hershey's Chocolate Free)

2. Item Level Discount:

Fixed Discount (E.g: Buy 2 Coke Cola and Get $5 Off)
Percentage Discount (E.g: Buy 5 Cheetos Crunchy and Get 5% Off) & (Eg: Buy 1 Burger and Get 20% Off On second burger)
Item to item level Discount (E.g: Buy 1 and Get 1 free)

3. Category level Discount

Fixed Discount (E.g: Buy Any 1 item in Fruits Category and Get $1 Off)
Percentage Discount (E.g: Buy Any 1 item in Male Grooming Category and Get 5% Off)
Category to Item-level Discount (E.g: Buy Any one item in Chocolates Category and Get 1 Hershey's Free)

Click on “Create Discount”.

The Create Discount pop-up opens, fill in the necessary fields, and save.

Name: Name of the discount (Mandatory field).
Code: Self created coupon code which can be used to avail the discount at online store.
Locations: Select the location(s) at which the discount has to be active (Mandatory field).
Valid from: Select the Start date of the discount.
Expires on: Select the End date of the discount.
Days: Select the days(Mon-Sun) on which the discount should be active. If left empty the discount will be active on all days.
Is TOTP Required: Discount is accessible only by entering the OTP available in Posbytz Merchant App.
Is Online: Enables the discount at online store as well.
Apply automatically: Triggers the discount automatically when the buy criteria is met.
Buy Criteria: Set the buy criteria (Order level, Item Level and Category).
Get Criteria: Set the get criteria (Item Level and Subtotal Level)

Order Level Discount

Fixed Discount (E.g: Buy for $1000 and Get $100 Off)

Buy Criteria: Order
Select Type: Subtotal
Enter Prerequisite Value: 1000
Get Criteria: Subtotal
Select Type: Fixed
Enter Discount Value: 100

Percentage Discount (E.g: Buy for $1000 and Get 10% Off)

Buy Criteria: Order
Select type: Subtotal
Enter prerequisite value: 1000
Get Criteria: Subtotal
Select type: Percentage
Enter discount value: 10
Enter Max Discount Value:

Order to Item-level Discount (E.g: Buy $500 and Get Hershey's Chocolate Free)

Buy Criteria: Order
Select type: Subtotal
Enter prerequisite value: 500
Get Criteria: Item
Now click on ‘Add Item’ in the ‘Get Criteria’ and an ‘Add Variation’ menu will pop up as shown below

Select Variation’ Dropdown menu: Hershey's Milk Chocolate
Enter Discount Quantity: 1
Enter Maximum Discount Quantity: 5
Select type: Percentage
Enter Discount Value: 100
Batch Information: (Batch Name applies to grocery stores since the batch-wise MRP might be subject to change based on GRN or Purchase orders)

Item-level Discount

Fixed Discount (E.g: Buy 2 Coke Cola & Get $5 Off)

Buy Criteria: Item
Now click on ‘Add Item’ in the ‘Buy Criteria’ and an ‘Add Variation’ menu will pop up as shown below
Select Variation Dropdown menu: Coke Cola Bottle
Select Type: Quantity
Enter prerequisite value: 2
Batch Information: (Batch Name applies to grocery stores since the batch-wise MRP might be subject to change based on GRN or Purchase orders)
Get Criteria: Subtotal
Select type: Fixed
Enter discount value: 5

Percentage Discount

Eg 1: Buy 5 Cheetos Crunchy & Get 5% Off

Buy Criteria: Item
Now click on ‘Add Item’ in the ‘Buy Criteria’ and an ‘Add Variation’ menu will pop up as shown below
Select Variation’ Dropdown menu: Cheetos Crunchy
Select Type: Subtotal/Quantity (Quantity in this scenario)
Enter prerequisite value: 5
Location Name: Brooklyn
Batch Name: (Batch Name applies to grocery stores since the batch-wise MRP might be subject to change based on GRN or Purchase orders)
Click on ‘Save’
Get Criteria: Subtotal or item (Subtotal in this scenario)
Select type: Fixed or percentage (Percentage in this scenario)
Enter discount value: 5
**Enter Max Discount Value: **
Click on ‘Save’

Eg 2: Buy 1 Burger and Get 20% Off on second burger)

Buy Criteria: Item
Now click on ‘Add Item’ in the ‘Buy Criteria’ and an ‘Add Variation’ menu will pop up as shown below

Select Variation’ Dropdown menu: Chicken Burger
Select Type: Subtotal/Quantity (Quantity in this scenario)
Enter prerequisite value: 2
Click on ‘Save’

Get Criteria: Subtotal or item (Item in this scenario)
Enter Get Discount Quantity: 0
Enter Maximum Discount Quantity: 1
Select Get Discount Type: Fixed or percentage (Percentage in this scenario)
Enter Get Discount Value: 20
Click on ‘Save’

Item to item level Discount

Condition: Buy 1 & Get 1 free

Buy 1 Get 1

Buy Criteria: Item
Now click on "Add Item" in the "Buy Criteria" and an "Add Variation" menu will pop up as shown below
Select Variation Dropdown menu: Cheetos Crunchy
Select Type: Quantity
Enter prerequisite value: 1
Batch Information: (Batch Name applies to grocery stores since the batch-wise MRP might be subject to change based on GRN or Purchase orders)

Get Criteria: Item
Now click on "Add Item" in the "Get Criteria" and an "Add Variation" menu will pop up as shown below
Select Variation Dropdown menu: Cheetos Crunchy
Enter Get Discount Quantity: 1
Enter Maximum Discount Quantity: 5
Select Get Discount Type: Fixed Or Percentage
Enter Get Discount Value: Enter the discount value
Batch Information: (Batch Name applies to grocery stores since the batch-wise MRP might be subject to change based on GRN or Purchase orders)

Click on "Save"

Category level Discount

Fixed Discount (E.g: Buy any 1 item in Fruits Category and Get $1 Off)

Buy Criteria: Category
Now click on ‘Add Category’ in the ‘Buy Criteria’ and an ‘Add Category’ menu will pop up as shown below

Select Category: Fruits
Select Type: Quantity
Enter prerequisite value: 1
Select Items To Exclude: Select the item variation which is not applicable in this discount. Eg. Papaya

Get Criteria: Category
Now click on ‘Add Category’ in the ‘Get Criteria’ and an ‘Add Category’ menu will pop up as shown below

Select type: Fixed
Enter discount value: 1

Click on ‘Save’

Percentage Discount (E.g: Buy Any 1 item in Male Grooming Category and Get 5% Off)

Buy Criteria: Category
Now click on ‘Add Category’ in the ‘Buy Criteria’ and an ‘Add Category’ menu will pop up as shown below

Select Category: Male Grooming
Select Type: Quantity
Enter prerequisite value: 1
Select Items To Exclude: Select the item variation which is not applicable in this discount. Eg. Shaving Cream

Get Criteria: Category
Now click on ‘Add Category’ in the ‘Get Criteria’ and an ‘Add Category’ menu will pop up as shown below
Select type: Percentage
Enter discount value: 5

Click on ‘Save’

Category to Item-level Discount (E.g: Buy Any one item in Chocolates Category and Get 1 Hershey's Free)

Buy Criteria: Category
Now click on ‘Add Category’ in the ‘Buy Criteria’ and an ‘Add Category’ menu will pop up as shown below
Select Category: Chocolates
Select Type: Quantity
Enter prerequisite value: 5
Select Items To Exclude: Select the item variation which is not applicable in this discount.

Get Criteria: Item
Now click on "Add Item" in the "Get Criteria" and an "Add Variation" menu will pop up as shown below
Select Variation: Hershey's
Enter Get Discount Quantity: 1
Enter Maximum Discount Quantity: 5
Select Get Discount Type: Fixed Or Percentage (Percentage in this scenario)
Enter Get Discount Value: 100

Click on "Save"
