Smirnoff Vodka

Smirnoff is the parent variation which is procured in bottle (700ml) and is not for sale.
Single Smirnoff (25ml) is the child variation and is for sale.
Double Smirnoff (50ml) is the child variation and is for sale.


Inventory of Smirnoff parent variation
Bottle Buying Price (With Tax) - This value represents buying price of one bottle including tax.
Unit Buying Price (With Tax) - This value represents the buying price of 1 piece / 1 kg / 1 L. Here in this example the value is greater than Bottle Buying Price because one bottle contains 700ml whereas the Unit Buying Price is calculated for 1 litre.

Fill the Bottle Buying Price and do not bother about Unit Buying Price.




Example : We have one can of Coca-Cola 500ml. The UOM is Piece/Count where a can is referred to as 1 Piece irrespective of its weight/volume. Coca-Cola 500ml can be sold only in pieces.

Alternate UOM Qty (Bottle) - The number of bottles procured. For example 10 bottles.
Total Buying Price (Bottle) - The total procuring cost of 10 bottles. Make sure the value you enter here is with tax or without tax by enabling the checkbox.

Do not bother about Unit Buying Price and Unit Base Price.
