Stock Management

Grocery Stock Management:-

Stock management, adjustment and transfer actions are performed in this section. Press three dots under "Actions" column for "Adjust Stock" and "Transfer" options. Transfer option is available only when the stock value is positive.

Note: If the item is not listed, Kindly enable "Track Inventory" option for the item.

Online Orders Restaurant Stock Management:-

The "Stock Availability" and "Update Status" options are available only for online orders integrated restaurant and QSR.
Stock Availability: The availability of items in online portals, such as Swiggy, Zomato and Uber Eats are controlled by enabling and disabling the items. Enabling the item makes it available and disabling the item makes it unavailable in the online portal.
Update Status: All the items in a location are enabled or disabled at one shot using this option.

Adjust Stock:-

The following parameters are present in adjust stock pop up.
Current Stock: Current available stock in the location is displayed and is non editable.
Stock Action: Type of action over the stock adjust.
Inventory Recount: Increase/Decrease or recount stock of the item.
Damage: Decrease the stock count on the account of damaged goods.
Theft: Decrease the stock count on the account of theft goods.
Lost: Decrease the stock count on the account of theft goods.
Return: Increase the stock count on the account of returned goods.
Adjust Stock: Increase or decrease the stock count based on the requirement. As you adjust the count, the Total Stock value varies accordingly. For example, when the Total Stock is 6 and
Adjust Stock is 2, Total Stock changes to (Current Stock + Adjust Stock) 6 + 2 = 8
Adjust Stock is -2, Total Stock changes to (Current Stock + Adjust Stock) 6 - 2 = 4
Total Stock: Represents the total stock count in the location. As you adjust the count, the Adjust Stock value varies accordingly.
Total Stock is 8, Adjust Stock changes to (Total Stock - Current Stock) 8 - 6 = 2
Total Stock is 4, Adjust Stock changes to (Total Stock - Current Stock) 4 - 6 = -2



For Stock Action "Inventory Recount". As we recount the stock in the inventory, we add or remove stock from the Current Stock value. When Total Stock is 6 and Current Stock is 6

Adjust Stock
Adjust Stock is 2, Total Stock changes to (Current Stock + Adjust Stock) 6 + 2 = 8
Adjust Stock is -2, Total Stock changes to (Current Stock + Adjust Stock) 6 - 2 = 4

Total Stock
Total Stock is 8, Adjust Stock changes to (Total Stock - Current Stock) 8 - 6 = 2
Total Stock is 4, Adjust Stock changes to (Total Stock - Current Stock) 4 - 6 = -2

For Stock Action "Return". As we receive back the return goods, we always add stock to the Current Stock. When Total Stock is 6, Current Stock is 6

Adjust Stock is 2, Total Stock changes to (Current Stock + Adjust Stock) 6 + 2 = 8

Total Stock
Total Stock is 8, Adjust Stock changes to (Total Stock - Current Stock) 8 - 6 = 2

For Stock Action "Damage", "Theft" and "Lost" and "Return". As we lose the stock, we always remove stock from the Current Stock value. When Total Stock is 6 and Current Stock is 6

Adjust Stock
Adjust Stock is -2, Total Stock changes to (Current Stock + Adjust Stock) 6 - 2 = 4

Total Stock
Total Stock is 4, Adjust Stock changes to (Total Stock - Current Stock) 4 - 6 = -2

Transfer Stock:-

Stocks are transferred from one location to another. Transfer from location and to location(s) are listed here.

Step 1: Select the transfer to location(s).

Step 2: Fill in the quantity to be transferred in the "Quantity" field. Selecting the "Copy to all" check box will copy the same value to the "Quantity" field of all the listed locations.

Step 3: By default the "Price" field is populated with the selling price of the item in transfer from location. The selling price can also be altered. Selecting the "Copy to all" check box will copy the same value to the "Price" field of all the listed locations.

Step 4: Press "Transfer" button to complete the transfer process.
