Release Notes - January 2025

We are excited to announce that we have implemented new features and made improvements to existing ones in our PosBytz software. This release includes a number of new features, improvements, and bug fixes, all designed to enhance your experience with our application.

Here are the highlights of the new features:

Backend :

Filter by Shift code in the sales summary report.
Attributes filters in inventory management.
Provision to create item inventory for all location in Purchase Order.
Location name print on shift summary.
Roles to restrict delivery person to edit the payment options.
Consolidated sales report.

Backend

Filter by Shift code in the sales summary report:

With the recent implementation of this option, user can now filter the Sales Summary Report based on the shift code. This enhancement allows user to view the sales details specific to a particular shift.

We can export the shift code from the Employee tab in Backend (ADMIN)

Navigation: Backend --> Employee --> Activity --> Shift code

You can copy and search the sift code in the sales summary shift code filter

Attributes filters in inventory management:

We have implemented attributes filters in Inventory Management. With this update, user can now filter items based on the attributes mapped to them. Additionally, you can select multiple attributes to refine your search, allowing you to quickly find the items that meet your specific requirements.

Navigation: Backend --> Inventory Management --> Stocks --> Attribute

Provision to create item inventory for all location in Purchase Order:

We’ve added a new feature that allows user to create item inventory for all locations directly from the Purchase Order tab. You can also exclude specific locations where you don’t want to create inventory.

Navigation: Backend --> Inventory Management --> Purchase Order --> Create Item

Location name print on shift summary:

The location name will now appear on the Shift Summary Report. This makes it easier for users to know which location the report is for.

Roles to restrict delivery person to edit the payment options:

A new edit setting has been added to allow delivery employees to edit payment options. With this feature, master user can restrict the delivery person to select and edit the payment method directly from delivery app.

Navigation: Backend ---> Employee ---> Roles ---> Edit ---> Enable / Disable Delivery payment setting in App permission

Note: After enabling the role, the user must log out and log back in to reflect the changes

Consolidated sales report:

A new "Consolidated Sales Report" has been added to the Reports section.

This report provides valuable insights including,
Day-wise profit
Total orders per day
Average sale value per order
Refunded item count, and more
Additionally, you can export the daily consolidated sales data on a monthly basis for easier tracking and analysis.

POS Billing App

Delivery person report tab:

Now we have a provision to capture the deliver report from report section in the separate tab called Delivery.

This feature will capture the below mentioned details,
Rider name (Delivery boy name),
Payment methods used,
Number of orders delivered by the riders,
Order total.

Note: Only completed orders details will be captured in this new delivery report tab.

QR Table Ordering

Category image enable/disable option:

A new setting has been added to enable or disable category images displayed on the QR ordering page. You can now choose to show the category images, or by disabling the setting, the categories will be displayed in a simpler format at the top of the screen.
