Release Notes - 12 August 2023

We are excited to announce that we have implemented new features and made improvements to existing ones in our PosBytz Software. This release includes a number of new features, improvements and bug fixes, all designed to enhance your experience with our application.

1. Kitchen Display customization

We have customized the KDS (Kitchen Display System) to enhance user-friendliness.

A. Time Stamps for Order Status

We have implemented a new feature in the Kitchen Display System that displays a time stamp for each order's status. This enhancement shows the time it takes to accept and prepare orders. This helps you monitor and manage kitchen operations more effectively by giving you real-time visibility into different stages of each order.

B. KDS Dashboard

We are excited to introduce a new dashboard feature in the Kitchen Display System. This dashboard provides users with valuable insights, allowing them to view:

A. Item consolidation total from all orders.
B. Item consolidation at each item level.
C. Modifier consolidation at each modifier level.

This enhancement offers a comprehensive overview of order items and modifiers, contributing to a more streamlined and efficient kitchen management process.

2. QR Ordering system based report

Previously, there was no provision for filtering QR-based orders in the table sales report. We have now included an order type filter that allows for the filtering of QR-based orders. The "Total Time Occupied" and "Average Time Occupied" will be displayed based on this filter.

3. Dashboard: Hourly Transaction Analytics

Our dashboard has been upgraded to include a sales trend display with a detailed hourly breakdown. This new feature allows you to analyze transactions per hour for better insights.

4. Accouting opening balance enhancement

We are pleased to announce the enhancement of the opening balance option in Posbytz Accounting. With this update, merchants can now select a specific date and enter their opening balance as a one-time process. This improvement streamlines the process and provides greater flexibility for managing accounting entries.

5. Bug fixes

In this release, we have addressed various general bugs and made fixes accordingly.
