Inventory Management

Automatic Margin-based price calculation during Purchase Order creation

We've added an automatic margin based price calculation for price categories during PO creation. This feature enables users to set desired percentage or fixed margins based on Item's selling or buying prices during purchase order creation. The POS system will then automatically apply this pricing for that item when concern price category is selected.

For example, consider the item Coke Cola 500 ml store selling price as ₹50 and buying price as ₹42 whereas the wholesale price is ₹45. Instead of manually updating the wholesale price after the Purchase Order (PO) creation, you can now set the wholesale price directly during the PO creation process by applying either a fixed margin (e.g., -₹5 from selling price/ ₹3 from buying price) or a percentage margin (e.g., -10% from selling price/ 7.25% from buying price) from Item selling/buying price.

Fixed: If you choose a fixed margin, the system will adjust the price by the specified amount from Item selling/buying price based on selection. For instance, setting a fixed margin of -₹5 from Item selling price or ₹3 from Item buying price will result in a wholesale price of ₹45.

Percentage: If you choose a percentage margin, the system will apply the % margin to the price from Item selling/buying price based on selection. For example, setting -10% margin from Item selling price or 7.25 % margin from Item buying price, resulting in a wholesale price of ₹45.

Please follow the below steps to activate this feature,

Step 1: Activate Edit Apply on Field in Price Category

Navigation: POS Admin (Backend) → Accounts & Settings → Admin Settings → Edit Apply on Field in Price Category

Step 2: Setup Price Category Apply ON against price category

Here the Price Category Apply On can be selected as either selling or buying price. This selection will determine the item price calculation in price categories during purchase order creation.

Navigation: POS Admin (Backend) → Items → Price Categories → Edit Price Category → Price Category Apply ON

Step 3: Setting up pricing margin during purchase order creation

Step 4: Do Force sync and check item pricing in POS

Customer Name Filter in COGS Report

We have added customer name filter in COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) Report. This enhancement enables users to filter the report by specific customers, allowing for detailed analysis of item-wise profits generated per customer. With this feature, businesses can gain valuable insights into customer-level profitability.

POS Online store

Enhanced Combo ON/OFF Functionality for POS Online store.

When one or more individual items within a combo are disabled due to stock unavailability, the system will automatically mark the entire combo item as out of stock and it will not display in POS Online store. This ensures that if any individual item within a combo is unavailable, the combo cannot be sold.

Combo Item: Jumbo Combo

Individual Items:

Chicken Burger
French Fries
Pepsi 100ml

In this setup, each item (Chicken Burger, French Fries, Pepsi) is tracked individually for inventory purposes. If you disables French Fries due to stock unavailability, the entire Jumbo Combo will not be available for sale in POS Online store.

Waiter App

Provision to see order details post billed status in waiter app

Previously, the waiter app restricted access to see billed order's summary in waiter app. Now we have given provision to display order summary post billed status. Kindly select the order popup to see detailed order summary as shown in screenshots.

Supported Version details:
