Release Notes - April 2025
We are excited to announce that we have implemented new features and made improvements to existing ones in our PosBytz software. This release includes a number of new features, improvements, and bug fixes, all designed to enhance your experience with our application.
Here are the highlights of the new features:
Payment Date Selection in Vendor Add Payment .
Display Employee Name in Vendor Transaction Page.
Filter by tag name in the inventory stock page.
Filters in Discount page based on Status, Variation & Category.
Display Employee Name & Created date details in Purchase order ----> Payment details page.
Update Batch price provision in the Purchase Order & Inventory.
Digital Stamp & Signature in invoice with Enable / Disable setting.
Weighing scale provision in custom sales tab.
Improved Readability for Tender Amount, Amount to Return, and Denominations
Current stock tab implementation.
Provision to add Payment Methods for Delivery App.
Implemented Item Sales report in Merchant App.
Users will have the flexibility to select any payment date, including both past and future dates, based on their requirements.
The selected payment date, along with the created date (i.e., the date the payment record was added), will be displayed on the vendor transaction page for reference and tracking.
Navigation ----> ADMIN ----> Inventory Management ----> Vendor ----> Transaction ----> Add Payment.


In the Vendor Transaction page, the name of the employee who performed the "Add Payment" action will be displayed.
This provision allows merchants to easily identify which employee processed each payment, improving transparency and tracking of payment activities.

A new provision allows users to search for items on the Inventory Management Stocks page based on the item tags mapped to them. To use this search filter, item tags must be mapped to the respective items.
Once a tag is selected in the search filter, all items associated with that tag will be displayed accordingly.
Navigation ----> POS ADMIN ----> Inventory Management ----> Stocks ----> More Filters -----> Select tag filter.


Users can now filter discounts based on their Status (Active, Inactive, or Both).
Discounts can also be filtered by Category and Variation.
These provisions offer a more efficient and user-friendly way to search and manage the discounts created in the system.

The Payment Details page under Purchase Order has been updated to display the Employee Name who processed the payment.
Additionally, the Created Date will now be captured and displayed, indicating the exact date the payment action was performed by the employee.

A new provision that allows users to update the batch selling price while receiving a raised Purchase Order.
When this provision is used, all existing batches for the item will have their selling prices updated to the newly entered selling price.
This update affects only the selling price; other batch details will remain unchanged.
The batch selling price can be updated either during the Purchase Order receiving process or through the Inventory Edit option.


Invoices generated from the ADMIN panel for sales can now include a digital stamp and signature.
This feature can be enabled or disabled as needed through the ADMIN settings, offering flexibility based on business requirements.
NOTE: The Stamp and Signature will be displayed for the invoices generated from ADMIN sales page and also in the invoices generated from Windows Complete.

The weighing scale provision has been implemented in the Custom Sales tab. This feature allows the system to capture the weight of items placed on the weighing scale during a custom sale.
Once the item is placed on the weighing scale, users must click the "Use Weighing Scale" button. The captured weight will then be displayed in the Quantity field.

The Checkout Page UI has been enhanced to improve the readability of key payment details, including the Tender Amount, Amount to Return, and Denominations.
Additionally, a number pad has been implemented in the Denominations section, allowing users to enter the tender amount.

A new Current Stock tab has been introduced in the Frontend POS billing application , allowing users to view the available stock of inventory items in real time.
Items can be sold from the Current Stock tab only by scanning the barcode of the desired item, after which the sale can be completed as usual.
NOTE: This provision is only implemented for Windows Complete

Users can now configure and add multiple payment methods for the Delivery App based on their specific requirements..
These payment methods must be set up through the ADMIN (BACK-END) under Payment Method Settings in Accounts & Settings.
When editing a payment method, if the POS Platform is selected with Delivery, the payment method will be available in the Delivery App.
This enhancement offers greater flexibility and supports a wider range of payment options during delivery transactions.
NOTE: If no specific POS Platform is selected during the setup, the payment method will still be displayed in the Delivery App by default.

The Item Sales Report feature has been added to the Merchant App, allowing merchants to view detailed daily sales data based on items sold.
This report helps merchants gain better visibility and insights into item-level sales.
A filter option is also provided to customize and view report data based on specific criteria, according to user needs.
NOTE: This Feature is same as the Item Sales Report available in the ADMIN (BACKEND)
