Windows Complete

Introduced Coupon Code feature in Windows Complete

Introduced the Add Coupon Code feature in POS, allowing users to apply coupon codes directly during billing — similar to the functionality available in Online Ordering. This ensures a consistent discount experience across platforms and improves promotional flexibility.

Note: This feature will be applicable on Windows Complete (v4.1.39) , iOS Billing, and Sunmi Android Billing.

Navigation : Admin → Items → Discount → Create Discount → Code

Item Price Display in Search List

Previously, when searching for an item in the POS search box, only item names were displayed. With this update, the search functionality has been enhanced to display item prices directly in the search results. This enhancement allows users to identify product prices instantly, improving the speed and efficiency of billing and item lookup.

Enhanced Force Sync with Selective Sync Functionality

Earlier, when performing a Force Sync, all sync options were executed together, which took more time. If users needed to sync specific options, they had to perform the sync process one by one. With this enhancement, users can do selective sync options and perform the sync in a single click, significantly reducing the time and effort required for synchronization.

Navigation : POS → Settings → Sync → Force Sync → Sync Option / Sync All

Zero Price Sale Enabled Under Variable Pricing

Earlier, when the Pricing Type was set to Variable, users were able to modify the selling price, but the system did not allow selling an item at ₹0. With the recent update, when the Pricing Type is set to Variable, users can now sell items at ₹0 if required.

Navigation : ADMIN → Accounts & Settings → Settings → POS Settings → Enable Zero Price Item Sale

Variable Modifier Pricing Now Allows Selling Price Edit

Earlier, even when we set the modifier pricing type as Variable, we couldn’t modify the selling price. Now, when we set the modifier pricing type as Variable, we are able to edit the modifier price.

Navigation : Admin → Accounts & Settings → Settings → POS Settings → Enable Variable Pricing for Modifiers

Android & iOS Billing

Improved Keyboard Handling in Billing App

With this enhancement, the typing area now automatically adjusts in the virtual keyboard to improve typing visibility, providing a clearer and more user-friendly typing experience.

Table Occupancy Duration Display in Billing App

Introduced the Table Layout Time feature to help track and manage table occupancy duration. This enhancement allows users to monitor how long each table has been active, improving operational efficiency and table turnover management.

ADMIN

Customizable Customer Name Format in KOT Labels

Updated the KOT label configuration to allow printing of the customer’s first name, last name, or full name based on the merchant’s preference. This enhancement provides flexibility in order labeling, simplifies kitchen order identification, and improves operational efficiency during busy hours.

Navigation : ADMIN → Accounts & Settings → POS Settings → Print Customer Name on KOT Label

HSN Number Provision Introduced in PO/GRN Item Creation

Earlier, users could add the HSN number only after receiving the PO or GRN, and it could be assigned against the item variation. With this enhancement, users can now add the HSN number directly while creating an item in PO or GRN, ensuring smooth inventory management.

Navigation : ADMIN → Inventory Management → Purchase Order / GRN → Create → Add Item → Create Item → HSN

View Total Quantities in PO and GRN

Earlier, after receiving stocks through PO or GRN, the total ordered and total received quantities were not displayed. With this enhancement, users can now view both total ordered and received quantities directly against each PO or GRN, ensuring better visibility and improved inventory tracking.

Navigation : ADMIN → Inventory Management → Purchase Order / GRN → 3 Dots → Details to view the total

Accounting

Document Numbers by Transaction Type

Introduced an option to create document numbers based on the selected transaction type. Users can now define custom prefixes and suffixes, which will be reflected in the journal number.

This enhancement enables better tracking, organization, and reporting of different transaction categories within the system.

Once you create the transaction types, Please Navigate to ADMIN → Accounts & Settings → Settings → PosBytz Accounting Settings.

Navigation : ADMIN → Accounting → Manual Transactions → Create Transaction, and enable the Auto Generate Number

Discount Mapping Added in Accounting Module

A new feature has been introduced in the Accounting Module to support Discount Mapping. This enhancement allows users to accurately map discounts applied on sales transactions to their respective accounting entries. With this update, all discounts will now be properly reflected in financial reports, ensuring better clarity and consistency between sales data and accounting records.

Navigation : Admin → Accounting → Account Mapping → Create Account Mapping

Charges Mapping Added in Accounting Module

We’ve introduced a new enhancement in the Accounting Module that allows users to map Service Charges, Delivery and Charges to their respective accounting entries.

This update ensures accurate posting of these charges in the accounting system, providing better transparency, consistency, and control over financial reporting and reconciliation.

Navigation : Admin → Accounting → Account Mapping → Create Account Mapping

Manual Journal Values Now Included in Tax Return Form

Earlier, manual journal values were not included in the Tax Return Form, which resulted in a mismatch in the total tax value. With this update, manual journal entries are now included in the tax return calculation, ensuring accurate tax reporting and consistency between financial records and tax summaries.

Navigation : Admin → Accounting → Manual Journal → Create Journal → Then map the tax against the journal Save

Navigation : Admin → Accounting → Reports → Tax Return Forms

Online Store

Store Availability Notification During Non-Business Hours

Earlier, in the online store, when a store was closed, a generic pop-up message — “No stores to serve at your location!” — was displayed. With this update, for an improved customer experience, when customers try to access the online store outside business hours, a clear pop-up message will now appear — for example:“Online ordering is closed. We’ll be open again tomorrow based on our business hours.” Additionally, customers will no longer be able to add items to the cart when the store is closed. This enhancement provides better communication and a smoother user experience.

Integration
