Introducing PosBytz ↔ Adahi Integration

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Project For Utilization Of Hady & Adahi

One of the programs of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, this project aims to facilitate the performance of Hady and Fidyah rituals for pilgrims of the Holy Mosque and to enable Muslims around the world to perform the rites of Udhiyah (sacrifice), Sadaqah (charity), and Aqiqah (sacrifice for a newborn) on their behalf. The meat is then distributed to eligible beneficiaries inside and outside the Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Project for Utilization Of Hady and Adahi (“Adahi”) was established in 1403 (1983). The Project’s activities are supervised by the Committee for the use of Hady and Adahi meat, with representation from a number of Saudi governmental agencies

Windows Complete

POS Now Supports Coupon Code Feature

Introduced the Add Coupon Code feature in POS, allowing users to apply coupon codes directly during billing — similar to the functionality available in Online Ordering. This ensures a consistent discount experience across platforms and improves promotional flexibility.

Note: This feature will be applicable on Windows Complete (v4.1.39) , iOS Billing, and Sunmi Android Billing.

Item Price Now Visible While Searching in POS

Enhanced the item search functionality in POS to display item prices directly in the search results. This improvement allows users to quickly identify product prices without needing to open item details, making billing and item lookup more efficient.

Now Sync Multiple Options Simultaneously – Force Sync Enhancement

A new enhancement has been implemented that allows users to initiate a Force Sync (All) or select multiple sync options simultaneously. This improvement significantly reduces the time required for synchronization by allowing multiple options to be synced at once instead of individually. It ensures that data between the application and the server remains consistent and can be updated manually whenever required.

Navigation : POS → Settings → Sync → Force Sync → Sync Option / Sync All

Variable Pricing Type Now Allows ₹0 Sales

Earlier, when the Pricing Type was set to Variable, users were able to modify the selling price, but the system did not allow selling an item at ₹0. With the recent update, when the Pricing Type is set to Variable, users can now sell items at ₹0 if required.

Navigation : ADMIN → Accounts & Settings → Settings → POS Settings → Enable Zero Price Item Sale

Variable Modifier Pricing Now Allows Selling Price Edit

Earlier, even when we set the modifier pricing type as Variable, we couldn’t modify the selling price. Now, when we set the modifier pricing type as Variable, we are able to edit the modifier price.

Navigation : Admin → Accounts & Settings → Settings → POS Settings → Enable Variable Pricing for Modifiers

Android & iOS Billing

Improved Keyboard Handling in Billing App

Enhanced the on-screen keyboard behavior in the Billing App to ensure better usability during data entry. The interface now automatically adjusts when the keyboard appears, keeping all important fields and buttons visible and accessible while typing..

Table Occupancy Duration Display in Billing App

Introduced the Table Layout Time feature to help track and manage table occupancy duration. This enhancement allows users to monitor how long each table has been active, improving operational efficiency and table turnover management.

ADMIN

Customizable Customer Name Format in KOT Labels

Updated the KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) label configuration to allow printing of the customer’s first name, last name, or full name based on the merchant’s preference. This enhancement provides flexibility in order labeling, simplifies kitchen order identification, and improves operational efficiency during busy hours.

Navigation : ADMIN → Accounts & Settings → POS Settings → Print Customer Name on KOT Label

HSN Number Entry Enabled While Creating Items in PO/GRN

Earlier, users could add the HSN number only while creating an item manually. However, while creating an item during Purchase Order (PO) or Goods Receipt Note (GRN) creation, the option to enter the HSN number was not available.

With this enhancement, users can now add the HSN number directly while creating an item in PO or GRN, ensuring accurate tax mapping and seamless inventory management.

Navigation : ADMIN → Inventory Management → Purchase Order / GRN → Create → Add Item → Create Item → HSN

View Total Quantities in PO and GRN

Earlier, after completing a Purchase Order (PO) or Goods Receipt Note (GRN), users were unable to view the total quantities. With this enhancement, users can now view the total quantities ordered and received directly against each PO or GRN, providing better visibility and inventory tracking.

Navigation : ADMIN → Inventory Management → Purchase Order / GRN → 3 Dots → Details to view the total

Accounting

New Configuration Option – Document Numbers by Transaction Type

Introduced the option to create document numbers based on transaction type selection. This enhancement ensures better tracking, organization, and reporting of various transaction categories within the system.

Once you create the transaction types, Please Navigate to ADMIN → Accounts & Settings → Settings → PosBytz Accounting Settings.

Navigation : ADMIN → Accounting → Manual Transactions → Create Transaction, and enable the Auto Generate Number

Discount Mapping Added in Accounting Module

A new feature has been introduced in the Accounting Module to support Discount Mapping. This enhancement allows users to accurately map discounts applied on sales transactions to their respective accounting entries. With this update, all discounts will now be properly reflected in financial reports, ensuring better clarity and consistency between sales data and accounting records.

Navigation : Admin → Accounting → Account Mapping → Create Account Mapping

Charges Mapping Added in Accounting Module

We’ve introduced a new enhancement in the Accounting Module that allows users to map Service Charges, Delivery and Charges to their respective accounting entries.

This update ensures accurate posting of these charges in the accounting system, providing better transparency, consistency, and control over financial reporting and reconciliation.

Navigation : Admin → Accounting → Account Mapping → Create Account Mapping

Manual Journal Values Now Included in Tax Return Form

Earlier, manual journal values were not included in the Tax Return Form, which resulted in a mismatch in the total tax value. With this update, manual journal entries are now included in the tax return calculation, ensuring accurate tax reporting and consistency between financial records and tax summaries.

Navigation : Admin → Accounting → Reports → Tax Return Forms

Online Store

Modifier-Only Categories Hidden in Online Store

Previously, for modifiers and add-ons, a category was created under which all modifiers were added. In the online store, these categories were visible, but clicking on them showed no items since all were created as modifiers. This often caused confusion for customers. With this update, if a category contains only modifier items, it will no longer be displayed in the online store — ensuring a cleaner and more intuitive browsing experience for customers.

Improved Customer Notification When Store Is Closed

Earlier, in the online store, if a store was closed (for example, open from 10 AM to 8 PM), it was not shown to customers. Instead, a generic message appeared stating “No stores to serve at your location!”, which led to confusion and a poor customer experience. With this update, when a customer tries to access the online store outside business hours, a clear pop-up message will appear — for example:“Online ordering is closed. We’ll be open again tomorrow based on our business hours.”
