# Inbound and Outbound Rules

If not able to establish a connection between Waiter App and POS.  Set the inbound and outbound rules.

1. ${color}[#000000](**Navigate**): Search-->Type Firewall & network protection.

2. Click Advanced settings

3. Click Inbound Rules and click New rules
* Select Port and click next

4. Follow the instructions
* Select TCP
* Type 3344 on Specific local port
* Click Next

5. Now give a name for your understanding

6. Click Outbound Rules and create a new rule same as the inbound rule

7. Restart your computer and check the waiter app
