# Taxes

| **Navigation**: Pos Backend → Items → Taxes

1. Press "Create Tax" button.

2. The “Create Tax” pop up opens, fill in the following details and save.

* **Name**: Unique name for the Tax. For example Exc GST 5% and Inc GST 5%, where Exc means exclusive and Inc means inclusive. 

* **Percentage**: Percentage of tax.  

* **Type**: Choose the type of tax

a) **Add Tax to Item Price**: Exclusive tax

b) **Include Tax to Item Price**: Inclusive tax

**Step 3**: Taxes are created. Edit and Delete options available.
