Release Notes - March 2025

We are excited to announce that we have implemented new features and made improvements to existing ones in our PosBytz software. This release includes a number of new features, improvements, and bug fixes, all designed to enhance your experience with our application.

Here are the highlights of the new features:

POS Backend :

Setting to change the colors of the theme for POS stores.
Provision to add & print landline number in receipts.
Provision to display customer details in Quotation details & PDF.
Setting to Enable/Disable customer & order details in all invoices.
Setting to Enable/Disable Item variation alternate names in all invoice formats.

POS ADMIN

Setting to change the colors of the theme for POS stores:

We have introduced a new setting that allows users to customize the theme colors for their online stores. This feature enables users to modify the colors of the header section and buttons, ensuring that the online store aligns with their brand identity.

Provision to add & print landline number in receipts:

We have introduced a feature that allows users to enter their store's landline number in the business profile. Additionally, a setting in the POS system enables users to enable or disable the printing of the landline number on receipts. This provides greater flexibility in displaying contact information based on business preferences.

Provision to display customer details in Quotation details & PDF:

Customer details will now be displayed alongside the quotation details and will also be included in the downloaded quotation PDF. This enhancement ensures clear and complete information of the customers.

Setting to Enable/Disable customer & order details in all invoices:

We have introduced a setting that allows users to enable or disable the display of customer and order details in invoices. This provides flexibility to customize invoices based on business requirements, ensuring only the necessary details are included.

Navigation : ADMIN (Backend) ----> Accounts & Settings ----> Admin Settings ----> Invoice Settings ----> Enable / Disable the details to display in invoices as per requirement.

Setting to Enable/Disable Item variation alternate names in all invoice formats:

A new setting has been added in the Admin (Backend) to enable or disable the display of item variation alternate names in all invoice formats. Businesses can now choose whether to show or hide alternate names based on their invoicing preferences.

Setting to Enable / Disable of UOM in invoice settings:

We have introduced a setting that allows users to enable or disable the display of Unit of Measurement (UOM) in invoice PDFs.

Windows Complete

Provision to Display Modifier price in cart and in the sales page:

Modifier prices will now be displayed below the item on the cart page and in the sales tab for completed sales. However, modifiers with a selling price of "0" will not be shown. This enhancement improves price transparency and ensures clear billing details.

QR Table Ordering

Discount to be displayed as banner with clickable link:

Discounts will now be displayed as a banner with a clickable link. Users can click on the banner to view the notes or Terms & Conditions associated with the discount, ensuring better visibility and accessibility of important details.
