Release Notes - August 2025
We are excited to announce that we have implemented new features and made improvements to existing ones in our PosBytz software. This release features several new enhancements, modifications, and bug fixes, all designed to improve your experience with our application.

POS Admin
Receipt Tax Display Options
Earlier, receipts displayed both tax split-up and total tax by default. With this update, merchants now have the flexibility to configure how tax details are shown on receipts, based on your needs.
options below,
- Show both tax split-up and total tax
- Show only tax split-up
- Show only total tax
- Show none (no tax-related information will be displayed on the receipt)
Update Dubai New Dirham Symbol in Receipt Print.
The system has been updated to reflect the new Dubai Dirham (AED) symbol consistently across both backend modules and printed receipts.
Note: This feature is currently supported only on Windows Complete.

Arabic Language Support in Receipt
To enhance localization and improve customer experience, the receipt printing system has been updated with Arabic language support.
Option to Enable/Disable Item Description on KOT.
To improve flexibility in kitchen operations, a new option has been added that allows merchants to choose whether to display item descriptions on the KOT.
Note: This feature is currently supported only on Windows Complete.
Accounting Module
Feature to List Payments Made Against Vendors
A new feature that allows you to view and track all payments made against vendors.
Addition of Notes Field in Add Payment Screen
A new Notes field has been introduced in the Accounting → Bill → Add Payment screen to allow merchants to add custom notes while recording payments.
Provision to Create Service Item During Bill Creation
A new provision has been added in POS Admin → Accounting → Bills, allowing merchants to create a Service Item directly during bill creation for faster and more flexible billing. Added a provision to create service items on the fly while creating bills, Service items created will be automatically saved and linked in the system for future use.
Provision to Create Vendor During Bill Creation
A new provision has been added in Bills, enabling merchants to create a vendor directly during bill creation, streamlining the billing process.
Provision to Create Vendor Advance Payment
A new provision has been introduced in POS Admin → Accounting, allowing merchants to record and manage vendor advance payments directly from the system.
Provision to export chart of accounts
A new provision has been introduced that allows merchants to export the Chart of Accounts directly from the system. When the Export option is clicked. The details will be processed and made available in the Export tab from there, you can easily download the file.
Discount Provision for Expenses and Bills
A new enhancement has been introduced to provide merchants with the ability to apply discounts directly on expenses and bills within the system.Added a Discount field in both Expenses and Bills screens.

KIOSK App
Option to Disable Popup and Notification Sound for Kiosk Orders.
Earlier, when a kiosk order was placed, it appeared under the Online Orders tab with a popup notification and sound until it was manually accepted. With this update, once the kiosk is mapped to the Auto-Accept Order Platforms, orders will be accepted automatically. In this mode:
- No popup notification will appear
- No notification sound will be triggered
- Orders will be directly auto-accepted into the system
Merchant App
Sales Summary Report Based on Business Working Hours (iOS & Android)
The Merchant App has been enhanced to generate sales summary reports based on configured business working hours automatically, ensuring more accurate reporting. Feature available on both iOS and Android Merchant Apps.
Merchant App Enhanced with Arabic Language (iOS & Android)
The Merchant App has been enhanced with Arabic input support to improve accessibility and usability for Arabic-speaking users. Enabled Arabic text input across all relevant fields in the Merchant App. Support available on both iOS and Android platforms.
