# Order Level Dynamic Discounts

1. Fixed Discount
2. Percentage Discount

To apply order level dynamic discount, click blue icon in the cart and select apply dynamic discount option.

||| The apply discount pop up opens, fill in the details and apply.

* **Discount Type**: Type of the discount (Fixed or Percentage)
* **Discount Value**: Discount amount for the order.

1. Fixed dynamic discount:

* **Discount Type **: Fixed.
* **Discount Value**:  Discount value. (Eg : 5$)

2. Percentage dynamic discount 

* **Discount Type **: Percentage.
* **Discount Value**:  Discount value. (Eg: 20%)
* **Maximum Discount Value**: Enter the maximum discount value. (Eg: 10$)

# Roles and Restriction for Dynamic Discount

Restriction for applying item level and order level dynamic discount can be defined from,
**Admin → Employees → Roles → Edit**
