Loyalty Management

Loyalty Management : Loyalty programs, sponsored by retailers and other businesses, offer rewards, discounts, and other special incentives as a way to attract and retain customers. They are designed to encourage repeat business, offering people a reward for store/brand loyalty.

Navigation: Main Menu --> Loyalty Management




Name: Name of the loyalty management program.
Code: For use in online store.
Locations: The outlets where you want the Loyalty Program to apply.
Valid From: Date from when the loyalty program is valid.
Expires On: Date on which the loyalty program expires.
Description: A short description about the program.
Customer Signup points: The number of points a customer gets for signing up with the store giving details like Name, Phone number, Email Address etc.,
Specify the amount required to earn 1 loyalty point: This is the amount required to be spent by the customer in order to earn 1 Loyalty point from the store.
Discount Type (Applicable on order): Dropdown menu (Fixed/Percentage)
Discount Value (Applicable on order): This is the amount applicable on the order while redeeming points.
Max Redeemable Amount (Applicable on order): This is the Maximum amount applicable on an order while redeeming points (This applies only if the ‘Discount Type’ is in ‘Percentage’)
Minimum Reward Points Needed (For Earning Reward): This requirement refers to the minimum number of points a customer must have in order to redeem them.
Discount Amount for each point: The customer earns points from us while signing up with us and Buying from us. This denotes the Amount value for each point. Eg: 1 point= 1$.

Fixed Loyalty Management


Example: Here we are going to create a FIXED Loyalty where the customer gets the following 5 benefits:

50 points for signing up

Spends 5 Dollar to earn 1 loyalty point

Needs a minimum of 30 points to redeem

Can claim 14 Dollar off on an order

Gets 1 Dollar for each point (Value)

Step 1: Click On ‘Create Loyalty



Step 2: Fill in the following fields

Name: Rewards
Customer Signup points: 50
Specify the amount required to earn 1 loyalty point: 5
Discount Type (Applicable on order): Dropdown menu (Fixed/Percentage) Fixed in this scenario.
Discount Value (Applicable on order): 10
Minimum Reward Points Needed (For Earning Reward): 30
Discount Amount for each point: 1

Once all fields have been filled click on the ‘Check reward description’ and you will see a Reward description at the bottom of the page


Click on “Save”

*Note: Loyalty points will apply ONLY to customers created AFTER creating a loyalty program*

Step 3: Open POS-->Go to ‘Settings-->’Sync’--> and sync ‘Merchant Details’



Step 4: Go to ‘Sell’ in POS and generate a sale by selecting any item(s) and click on “Checkout”



Step 5: Click on ‘Add Customer” and select a customer



Step 6: Click on that customer and select ‘Check loyalty Points’



Step 7: You should see a ‘loyalty points’ pop up as shown below:



Step 08: Select the loyalty point and click on ‘Apply’


You can see that 10 points have applied as a 10 dollar discount in the image above



Step 09: Confirm the order and complete the sale.

Percentage Loyalty Management


Example: Here we are going to create a PERCENTAGE Loyalty where the customer gets the following 5 benefits:

50 points for signing up

Spends 5 rupees to earn 1 loyalty point

Needs a minimum of 30 points to redeem

Can claim 14 Rupees off on an order

Can claim a MAXIMUM of up to 50 Rupees

Gets 1 Rupee for each point (Value)



Step 2: Fill in the following fields

Name: Percentage Rewards
Customer Signup points: 50
Specify the amount required to earn 1 loyalty point: 5
Discount Type (Applicable on order): Dropdown menu (Fixed/Percentage) Percentage in this scenario.
Discount Value (Applicable on order): 14
Max Redeemable Amount (Applicable on order): 50
Minimum Reward Points Needed (For Earning Reward): 30
Discount Amount for each point: 1

Once all fields have been filled click on the ‘Check reward description’ and you will see a Reward description at the bottom of the page



Click on “Save”

Note: Loyalty points will apply ONLY to customers created AFTER creating a loyalty program



Step 3: Open POS-->Go to ‘Settings’-->’Sync’--> and sync ‘Merchant Customers’



Step 4: Go to ‘Sell’ in POS and generate a sale by selecting any item(s) and click on “Checkout”



Step 5: Click on ‘Add Customer” and select a customer



Step 6: Click on that customer and select ‘Check loyalty Points’




Step 7: You should see a ‘loyalty points’ pop up as shown below:




Step 8: Select the loyalty point and click on ‘Apply’




You can see that 50 points have applied as a 50 Rupees discount in the image above and that the discount is calculated as 11.9% of the order.

Step 9: Confirm the order and complete the sale.
