# Categories

| **Navigation**: Pos Backend →  Items → Categories

Category is a group of items or products that are similar to each other. Each item must be under a category.

1. Press "Create Category" button.

2. The “Create Category” pop opens, fill and Save.

* 
 Name ${color}[#f00505](*) : Unique name for the Category.

3. A Category is created. Edit and Delete options available.

||| Attention: Deleting the category will delete all the items under the category.
